What's Included in a Standard Tuning?

When you pay for a piano tuning, you're getting:

A standard tuning takes approximately 2-3 hours.

What Affects the Price?

1. How Long Since the Last Tuning

If your piano hasn't been tuned in several years, the pitch may have dropped significantly. For your piano to be in perfect pitch, it would need a pitch raise. However, your piano can also be tuned to its current pitch, and you can hold off on the pitch raise until another time if needed.

Regular annual tuning costs less in the long run than waiting years between tunings.

2. Piano Condition

Older pianos or those in poor condition may take more time to tune properly, but our pricing stays the same for standard tunings and pitch raises.

3. Piano Type

Same price regardless of piano type. Upright, grand, or concert grand, our pricing stays the same.
